The Social Work Practitioners Act 25 of 2022 Section 4:2(a); empowers members of the Institute who are professional social work practitioners  and have been in practice for upward of three years to affix practitioner stamp and seal on every document that emanates from them. 

In pursuance of the above; Qualified members are hereby invited to apply for due registration and collection of professional stamp and seal.

Need for Professional Stamp and Seal

The professional social workers are involved in case evaluation, intervention, reporting, background checks, home and family tracing reports and jurisprudence. In order to authenticate documents and identify professionals that are directly associated with particular cases.  

This seal will however become a symbol that authorizes further necessary actions by other professionals so connected with the case(s) such as social work cases in the court of law.

C-ISOWN seal is therefore given to members who have satisfied the under-listed conditions:  

a. Fill an application form

b. Attend professional consulting workshop 

c. Get an invitation to attend professional consulting workshop

d. Complete the consulting training course

e. Stamp and seal will be issued

Application form fee for Professional Stamp and Seal – N10,000

Professional Consulting workshop fee – N80,000

Professional Stamp and Seal fee – N45,000
